Listening is an art. It takes practice to listen deeply to ourselves and those around us, as well as the natural world. In these times when there is so much noise and chaos coming at us, time to pause and listen fortifies our hearts and well-being. Come join us at the Richmond Free Library for a three hour session of creative expression, reflection, small group shariing to explore new ways of listening. Come once, come monthly. Bring a friend or someone you would like to listen with more fully.
Each Session will focus on a different mode of listening and expression, from poetry, painting, collage, yin yoga as a way of tapping into what may be beyond your ear-sight. You will leave each session with a physical reminder of new understadings and nourishment in community. These monthly gatherings will be co-faciliatated with local artist, listeners, learners. A final schedule will be listed shortly.
For now, shave the dates and carve time each month to deepen your own listening practices.

No artistic experience is needed. We will bring the materials, you bring yourself - and a friend - as a gift to yourself(ves) of the spaciousness needed to hear what is wanting your attention. Come explore new ways of listening and discover what is wanting to be unleashed in you.
